I am going to be honest with you. When I received the news that I had been named Most Resourceful Coach at the Life Coach Code Awards 2026, my first reaction was not celebration.
It was quiet.
Because the word resourceful hit differently than I expected. It didn't just feel like recognition for my coaching skills. It felt like recognition for everything it took to get here. Every reinvention. Every rebuilding. Every moment I had to find a way forward when there was no clear path.
That is what resourcefulness actually looks like. And today I want to tell you the story behind this award — because it belongs to every woman who has ever had to rebuild and reinvent herself from her experiences.
I was a high-achieving woman earlier and during the first few years of my marriage — driven, successful, and ambitious with a sense of direction.
And then I made a choice that seemed right at the time — I stepped away from my career to be fully present as a mother, homemaker, and wife.
For over twenty years, I poured everything I had into my family. I was there for every school run, every milestone, every quiet ordinary moment that makes up life, every doctor's appointment, every game, support for my partner's career, from long travels to work hours — and everything in between.
But somewhere in those twenty years, something happened that I didn't notice until it was profound.
I disappeared.
Not physically. Not from my family. But from myself.
I had become so focused on being the perfect mother, the perfect wife, the perfect homemaker, the perfect support system, that the woman I actually was — her voice, her ambitions, her sense of self — went quiet. And then quieter still. Until one day I realized I couldn't remember who she was.
I didn't just step away from a career. I stepped away from myself.
Then came divorce. A transition I never saw coming.
Everything I had built my identity around — the role of wife, the support, the security of a known life, the structure of two decades — was gone.
And in that crack, something unexpected happened. I had to rebuild. Not just my finances. Not just my career. My entire sense of who I was.
I had to ask myself — possibly for the first time in twenty years — who am I? Not as a mother. Not as a wife. Not as a homemaker. But as a woman. As a human being. As Charu. The question was terrifying. And it was the most important question I had ever asked. Because in searching for the answer, I found my purpose.
I became a coach not because I studied coaching from the outside, but because I lived the transformation from the inside.
I know what it feels like to lose yourself so completely that you can't remember who you were before. I know what it feels like to stand at the crossroads of a major life transition with no roadmap and no certainty about what comes next. I know what it feels like to rebuild — piece by piece, decision by decision — a life that actually belongs to you.
That lived experience is not a footnote to my coaching. It is the foundation of it. And it is why I blend NLP — Neuro-Linguistic Programming — with somatic techniques and identity strategy. Because real transformation doesn't just happen in the mind. It happens in the body, in the nervous system, in the deepest sense of self. And I understand that not because I read about it — but because I lived it.
No shortcuts. No generic programmes. No one-size-fits-all solutions. Just real, resourceful, deeply personalized coaching — built from experience.
When Life Coach Code named me Most Resourceful Coach, I thought about what that word really means in practice.
Resourceful doesn't mean having the most tools. It means knowing which tool to use for which woman, in which moment, at which stage of her journey. It means showing up to every session with every piece of my training, my experience, and my story — and knowing exactly how to deploy it in service of the woman in front of me.
It means never giving up on a client. Never defaulting to a programme when what she needs is a pivot. Never following the script when what she needs is the truth. Resourceful means I meet you exactly where you are — and I find the precise path that moves you forward. Every single time.
That is what I promised my first client. And it is what I promise every woman who works with me today.
This recognition is not just mine. It belongs to every woman who trusted me with her identity journey. Every client who showed up to a session scared, fragmented, lost, or uncertain — and left with clarity, direction, and a deeper sense of who she actually is. And it is a public commitment.
A commitment that every woman who comes to Thrive Transform will receive the most resourceful, most personalized, most deeply human coaching I am capable of giving. Because you deserve more than a programme. You deserve a coach who has walked the path, knows every turn, and will show up with everything she has to guide you through it.
I work with high-achieving women navigating life's biggest transitions. Women who have built incredible careers, families, and lives — and somewhere in all of that excellence, lost themselves.
Women going through divorce, career transitions, identity crises, empty nest, loss or grief, the overwhelm of caregiving, and loss of direction or purpose. Women who are done performing and ready to start being. Women who know something needs to change but don't yet know what — or how.
If that is you, I want you to know: the identity work is real. The transformation is possible. And you do not have to figure it out alone.
